A typical walk
Pinsley Woods, Church Road
Easy walk
Bit boggy and some broken branches and nettles in summer
Walking boots and wellies
Dogs under control some of the way
Buggies and wheelchairs part of the way
45–60 minutes

For this walk there is a small parking area consisting of a layby just outside the cemetery. This is a very nice and fairly flat walk through Pinsley Woods. Park your car in the layby and follow the rough track past the allotments on your right hand side until you come across a tarmaced path which is the main path between Church and Long Hanborough
Turn left onto the path and follow for about 100 yards until you get to a hedgerow on your right hand side turn right down the hedgerow and enter the woods and you can either turn right or left to follow the track around the woods. This is all fairly flat and is accessible with buggies and maybe wheelchairs but I wouldn't recommend this for wheelchairs.
As there are no pheasants in this wood your dog can run fairly freely but again always keep your dog under control at all times. The wild life on this walk would be the normal birds and rabbits and the sound of the buzzards but they are not very easy too see through the trees. If you want to see a mass of bluebells this would be the perfect walk for you in the spring/summer when they are out as the whole floor in this wood is covered in them and is a pleasant sight.
This walk can easy be done in walking shoes and if it has been dry for a period of time can be done in just normal shoes. This walk can take an average walker around 45mins—1 hour and when the bluebells are out may take you longer due to just enjoying the scenery of them.
